Australia's flag is called the Commonwealth Blue Ensign.  The British Union Jack flag is in the upper left corner.

The Southern Cross Constellation is on the right side of the flag.

The large, white, seven-pointed Commonwealth Star symbolizes the state and territories in Australia.
