FLAG

The colors on the Chinese flag are red and yellow.

The flag was adopted in September, 1949.  The place it was first flown was Tiananmen Square.

It has five yellow stars.  The star on the left is bigger than the rest of the stars.

The red stands for revolution.

The big star represents the Communist party.

The smaller stars represent the people of China.
