To keep cool, Indians wear light, loose clothing.

  Boys and men usually wear a white cotton shirt over light cotton pants.  

Women in India wrap themselves in a long, narrow piece of cloth called a sari.  They wrap these around their bodies in different ways, depending on the day and where they live.
